Judith's specialization in Codependency treatment enables her to assist family members of addicted people. This work is significant to those who ‘over care’ for others. She employs a simple solution focused approach which breaks issues down into manageable parts. Through this approach, clients become aware that they have personal power and are shown how to access and use this power assertively.
Judith's 30 years experience in education, as a school counsellor and teacher, has provided her with a great respect for youth and the challenges of parenting. In working with families, parents learn how to set appropriate limits and how to bring their power back into the relationship. Teens are invited into the process and consulted on solutions.
Cognitive behavioral therapy is used when appropriate to adjust behavior one step at a time.
Judith is an emotion release specialist who combines counselling with energy therapy (Reiki, CranioSacral and other therapies).Her approach is to encourage clients, helping them to see challenges as manageable, supporting them in making adjustments while illustrating that there is hope.
